Urban Planning : Family Housing
Description | Family Housing Project is specifically oriented to provide health and safety for the residents of the community. Through retail and small commercial stores, all is typology specifc with visitors of Hollywood in mind. The architecture does not exclude but include and recapture public space and provides much needed social equity through programmatic elements. The facade connection throughout the block is created for the purpose of inclusionary efforts for those walking down the boulevard as well as an upper programmatic connection between neighborhoods from other sites on the second floors. The program for the residents is oriented to provide ‘eyes on the street’ at all times for the safety of families and their children. Lastly, ease of walk ability is essential in this neighborhood and therefore accessible throughout and in-between the individual building elements as well as the surrounding neighborhoods. |
